download the cd image

the mp3 and ogg files on the download page are of pretty high quality but they are compressed using lossy compression and will sound marginally worse than the original cd. most people can only hear the difference if they do a direct a/b comparison, and even then they often don't care.

but if you don't mind waiting to download a very large file you can download the cd image. this is an exact copy of what's on the cd and can be used to directly burn a cd from most cd burning software. just be warned that it could take a while to download.

if you're using windows you can try using this free software. you might want to change the file extension to ".iso". nero users can change the file extension to ".nrg" and nero will know what to do. mac users, let me know what works for you and i'll post it here.
